Members with guests:

A special welcome back was extended to Earl Proctor.

Lynn Barnett introduced the following:

  • Columbia South Rotary: Joe Weston

  • Columbia Metro Rotary : Rob Christianson

No birthdays this week.

John and Beverly Miles celebrate an anniversary today, February 8th; David and Ellen Clithero will celebrate an anniversary on February 12th.

May 4-6 is the 2007 District Conference in Sedalia.  All Rotarians are invited and encouraged to attend.

June 17-20 is the 2007 International Convention in Salt Lake City. There is great information about the Convention on the Rotary International website:

If you have an interest in the District Conference or the International Convention, please let Paige Scott know.

The Group Study Exchange Team (GSE) from Germany will visit April 14--17th.

10 members still need to pay their January-June dues.

In our dues statement, each member was asked to contribute $10 to the Rotary Foundation Polio Plus Program. Your $10 gift will provide enough polio vaccine for 16 children.

Members of our Club have contributed a little over $1,200 so far--an average of $8.82 per member.  If every member gives an additional $1.18, we’ll meet our goal.

To learn more about the Polio Plus Program please see your February 2007 Rotarian magazine or visit the Rotary International website.

NEED A RIDE TO ROTARY?

The Hospitality Committee prepares get-well cards for members who are ill and can set up rides for members who can't otherwise get to meetings. Please email Caroline Gower or call 874-8712 (work) 874-2451 (home).
