6 members still need to pay their January-June dues.

In our dues statement, each member was asked to contribute $10 to the Rotary Foundation Polio Plus Program. Your $10 gift provides enough polio vaccine for 16 children.

So far, members of our Club have contributed $1,355 or about $10 per member.  THANK YOU!

To learn more about the Polio Plus Program please see your February 2007 Rotarian magazine or visit the Rotary International website.

May 4-6 is the 2007 District Conference in Sedalia.  All Rotarians are invited and encouraged to attend.

June 17-20 is the 2007 International Convention in Salt Lake City. There is great information about the Convention on the Rotary International website:

If you have an interest in the District Conference or the International Convention, please let Paige Scott know.

The Group Study Exchange Team (GSE) from Germany will visit April 14--17th.

M. Frederick Hawthorne, Ph. D. is the Director of the University's new International Institute of Nano and Molecular Medicine. Dr. Hawthorne came to the University in August 2006 because of its unique combination of facilities and programs on campus: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, College of Agriculture, and the largest campus-based nuclear reactor in the country. He studies "very tiny things" and their medical applications, particularly, methods to efficiently kill cells through "boron neutron capture." Please click on the link above to learn more about the Institute.
