NEED A RIDE TO ROTARY?

The Hospitality Committee prepares get-well cards for members who are ill and can set up rides for members who can't otherwise get to meetings. Please email Caroline Gower or call 874-8712 (work) 874-2451 (home).

Diana Ratliff, owner-operator of SavvyOnlineShopper, told members about the potential risks and benefits of online shopping. Although many fear fraud and security breaches, she said that there is generally a lower risk to shopping online than people think, if they carefully research the sites they're interested in. She is not suggesting that people not shop locally at brick-and-mortar establishments, but people can find deals and comparison shopping online that is not available elsewhere. You can order Diana's book, "The Insider's Guide to Shopping Online," diretly from her.
