The Columbia Rotary Redneck Triathlon & BBQ," will be held tonight from 4 to 9 p.m. at Cody's Bar & Grill, 2508 Paris Rd. Attendees will be able to enjoy a savory BBQ dinner and cheer on our club's "athletes" as they compete against the other clubs in the 2006 "Redneck Games." The double-elimination, spectator-friendly events comprising the Redneck Games are: 1) Billiards, 2) Darts, and 3) Washer-Pitch. There will also be a bonus event in which one person from each club will ride the mechanical bull. For each of the three main events, we need at least one two-person team. We're looking for club members with expertise in these games -- or at least a lack of embarrassment about playing them in front of a crowd. Volunteers are asked to contact Bob Buckley at 443-3134 or bbuckley@owwlaw.com.
